Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Production Engine Technician to build, test, troubleshoot, and validate proprietary heating systems using jet-engine technology. The role emphasizes craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement in a clean production environment.

You will work with Engineering, Quality, and Product Development teams to advance prototypes and production units across North America. Strong mechanical skills and aviation/engine experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Aviation Maintenance, Powerplant, Diesel, Automotive, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
• Professional engine building experience or technical school experience building aircraft, turbine, diesel, racing, or industrial engines strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing or production assembly experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complete engine and heating units from start to finish per detailed instructions and engineering specs.
• Tear down returned engines and equipment for inspection and repair.
• Inspect components for reuse or replacement and perform rebuilds as needed.
• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and fuel system components to precise specs.
• Perform operational testing before and after rebuilds and verify production readiness.
