Job summary

REIC Rentals LLC is seeking an Engine Rebuild Technician to diagnose, disassemble, inspect, refurbish, and rebuild jet-powered heating systems. You will work on proprietary engines, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Product Support in a clean, safety-focused environment.

The role emphasizes precise workmanship, documentation, and adherence to testing procedures to ensure reliability in critical applications such as construction and emergency operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree or certification in Aviation Maintenance, Powerplant Technology, Diesel/Automotive Technology, or related field preferred.
• Professional experience rebuilding aircraft, turbine, diesel, industrial, automotive, or racing engines preferred.
• Technical school engine rebuilding experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Receive failed engines and heating units from the field.
• Completely disassemble engines and related components.
• Inspect wear, damage, and failure; determine salvage or replacement needs.
• Document failure findings and communicate issues to Engineering.
• Rebuild engines following detailed work instructions and engineering specs.
• Test engines before and after rebuilds and verify performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; uphold quality standards.
• Maintain repair records within company systems.

High school diploma

Aviation Maintenance/Powerplant Certification

Engine rebuilding experience

Technical school engine rebuilding experience

Professional engine rebuilding experience

Reading mechanical drawings and service manuals

Strong mechanical aptitude

Repair documentation using basic computer skills
