Job summary

Williams International in Pontiac, MI seeks an R&O Technician to join our FAA-certified Repair Station team. You will work closely with specialists on turbine engine products, performing assembly, disassembly, testing, cleaning, and rework to prepare engines for shipment.

Responsibilities include following process plans, stamping completed work, inspecting hardware visually, and maintaining a safe, efficient 6S work area while complying with safety regulations. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a mechanic or 1 year working with Williams International gas turbine engines preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches/drawings and use inspection equipment is required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and conduct rework of gas turbine engines and related components following process plans, work instructions, and engine manuals.
• Stamp work at completion to ensure compliance with engine manual and quality requirements.
• Perform visual inspection of engine hardware.
• Maintain work area in compliance with 6S standards.
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
