Job summary

Emmi Roth is seeking a skilled JDE System Analyst to analyze business processes within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP, identify improvements, translate needs into system requirements, and ensure effective implementation and support across departments.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, design configurations, develop documentation, and provide training. The role requires 3+ years in JDE, and experience with SQL, Linux/Windows, and reporting tools.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years as a JDE System Analyst or similar role.
Proficiency in JD Edwards E1 on Windows and Linux; configuration, customization, and integration.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MicroStrategy, ReportsNow).
Strong project management and ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Gather business requirements from users and translate into functional specs for JDE.
Analyze current business processes within JDE to identify optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with technical teams on design, configuration, and integration within JDE.
Create detailed documentation and user guides for JDE modules.

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced JDE System Analyst to analyzes business processes within an organization, specifically focusing on the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) ERP system, to identify areas for improvement, translate business needs into system requirements, and ensure efficient implementation and support of JDE modules across different departments, often collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and manage system changes within the JDE platform.

Duties and Responsibilities

Business Requirement Gathering:
1. Conduct interviews with users to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements for the JDE system.
Process Analysis:
1. Analyze existing business processes within the JDE system, identifying areas for optimization and streamlining workflows.
System Design:
1. Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions within JDE, including configuration changes, customizations, and integrations with other systems.
Documentation:
1. Create detailed functional specifications, user guides, and system documentation for JDE modules.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
1. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and quality of JDE implementations.
User Training:
1. Provide training to end-users on JDE functionalities and new features.
Change Management:
1. Manage change associated with JDE system updates and implementations, including communication and stakeholder engagement.
Production Support:
1. Troubleshoot user issues, provide technical support, and resolve system problems within the JDE environment.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a JDE System Analyst or similar role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in JD Edwards E1 running on Windows and Linux, including configuration, customization, and integration. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MicroStrategy, ReportsNow) is preferred.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively, adhering to timelines and budgets.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and develop effective solutions.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in analysis and implementation.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience in the food manufacturing or distribution industry.
Experience with WMS, EDI, AP Automation (Forza Scanman) or RF scanning solutions
