Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for a highly skilled JD Edwards Functional Consultant for a 6+ month contract, remote in the United States.

The role focuses on gathering requirements, configuring JD Edwards modules, and ensuring seamless integration across manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate brings 12–15 years of hands-on JD Edwards functional consulting, strong module experience (Manufacturing, Distribution, PLM, costing), and proven SQL

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of hands-on JD Edwards functional consulting experience.
• Strong experience with Manufacturing and Distribution modules.
• Deep knowledge of costing and accounting within JD Edwards.
• Experience with Inventory Management and Supply Chain Planning.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across JDE functional areas.
• Configure and support JD Edwards modules including Manufacturing, Distribution, and SCM.
• Develop functional specifications and create system flow diagrams for design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues with IT and business teams.
• Execute SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and issue investigation.
• Support testing, deployments, and production stabilization; train end users.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented JDE Functional Consultant. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in US (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across JDE functional areas.
• Configure and support JD Edwards modules including:
• Manufacturing
• Distribution
• Supply Chain Planning
• Inventory Management
• Intercompany Processes
• Quality Management
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Costing and Accounting
• Develop functional and technical specifications for system enhancements and integrations.
• Create process and system flow diagrams to support solution design and implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while coordinating with technical and business teams.
• Execute SQL queries for data analysis, issue investigation, and validation activities.
• Support testing activities, system deployments, and production stabilization.
• Collaborate with business users to optimize operational processes and improve system utilization.
• Participate in system enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide end-user support and knowledge transfer as needed.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 12–15 years of hands-on JD Edwards Functional Consulting experience.
• Strong experience with Distribution and Manufacturing modules.
• Deep understanding of JDE Costing and Accounting functionality.
• Experience with Inventory Management, Supply Chain Planning, and Sales processes.
• Experience with JDE system configuration and functional setup.
• Ability to create functional specifications and technical design documentation.
• Ability to develop system and process flow diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with EDI integrations.
• Knowledge of Quality Management and PLM processes.
• Experience supporting intercompany transactions and distribution operations.
• Prior experience within Life Sciences or Manufacturing environments.
