Qualifications

• Functional experience in manufacturing, finance, transportation, distribution, job costing, or purchasing.
• Ability to perform hands-on technical work including system mods and orchestrations.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, enhancements, and/or application support.

Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a JD Edwards (JDE) Techno-Functional Implementation Consultant to support new implementations, system enhancements, and ongoing application support. This role is approximately 70% functional and 30% technical, offering the opportunity to work directly with clients, improve business processes, and develop practical ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client business processes, gather requirements, and recommend improvements using Oracle JD Edwards.

• Support new implementations, system enhancements, and ongoing application support.

• Work with business users to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.

• Support JDE functionality across manufacturing, finance, transportation, distribution, job costing, and purchasing.

• Perform technical tasks, including system modifications, configuration adjustments, and development of orchestrations.

• Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to deliver effective solutions.

• Participate in client workshops, requirements discussions, solution demonstrations, and project meetings.

• Develop functional and technical documentation, process flows, testing plans, and training materials.

• Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, validation, and quality assurance.

• Support user training and the adoption of new functionality and business processes.

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through ERP optimization, automation, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Approximately 4–6 years of experience working with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne in a functional, technical, or techno-functional role.

• Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: manufacturing, finance, transportation, distribution, job costing, or purchasing.

• Ability to perform hands-on technical work, including system modifications and writing orchestrations.

• Experience supporting ERP implementations, enhancements, and/or application support.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements-gathering skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and technical teams.

• US Citizen or Green Card Holder currently in the USA.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50–75% to client sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the homebuilding or residential construction industry.

• Experience working across multiple JDE functional areas.

• Interest in business process improvement, automation, and emerging enterprise technologies.
