Job summary

TechDoQuest is seeking a seasoned JD Edwards E1 Techno-functional Consultant in New York. The role focuses on end-to-end development, design, and support of JDE EnterpriseOne solutions, with emphasis on Sales and Distribution. A hands-on senior specialist is required, not a people manager.

Candidates should have 15+ years of relevant experience, and be capable of mapping As-Is to To-Be processes while integrating JDE with third-party systems and orchestrations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of JD Edwards experience.
• Strong knowledge of Sales & Distribution in JDE E1.
• Experience with customizations, reports, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test custom applications, reports (UBE), and BSFN/NER using the JDE toolset.
• Write custom code (UBEs, NERs, BSFN, orchestrations, forms & reports).
• Configure Setups, Processing Options, Versions, UDOs and Workflows.
• Build BSSV, REST APIs, AIS Services, Third Party Connectors.
• Write Data Load Scripts (Z- Tables, Excel & SQL), run Conversions.
• Implement roles, SOD, row Security, UDO Security.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical design docs.
• Develop interfaces between JDE and third-party systems using BSSV/RTE/Orchestrator.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and review code to improve performance.
• Support JDE EnterpriseOne upgrades and implementations.
• Map As-Is to To-Be processes and configure Sales & Distribution.

Job description

• A JD Edwards (JDE) E1 Techno functional Consultant specializes in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting custom technical solutions within the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP suite. Should have good domain knowledge and experience in Sales and Distribution. Nice to have Finance modules.
• Need hands on person. Should be able to complete development end to end by engaging in the project from requirement phase to hyper care closure. This is not a people management role.
• Need to have relevant experience of 15+ years.
• Roles and Responsibilities:
• Customization & Development:
• Design, code, and test custom applications, reports (UBE), and Business Functions (BSFN/NER) using the JDE toolset.
• Write Custom Code (UBEs, NERs, BSFNs, Build Orchestrations, Modify Forms & Reports
• Configure Setups, Processing Options, Versions, UDOs and Workflows

• System Maintenance: Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews to improve system performance.
• Version Upgrades: Support JDE EnterpriseOne upgrades and implementation projects.
