Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking an Operational Business Systems Analyst to collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, influence, document, and prioritize JD Edwards improvements and new features.

The role requires driving process improvements and delivering measurable business impact across manufacturing and distribution. The position is on-site in Michigan (Shelby Township or Westland) with weekly travel between locations; relocation assistance is available for non-local USA

Qualifications

• 8+ years as an ERP Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Business: understand needs, prioritize requirements, and translate into actionable solutions; document requirements, test cases, exceptions, and acceptance criteria.
• Know the Business: develop understanding of manufacturing, distribution, inventory, production planning, supply chain processes and how JDE can support them.
• Drive Process Improvement: identify opportunities to improve processes, decision-making, system utilization, and efficiency; measure results with KPIs.
• Design JDE Solutions: evaluate options and design practical solutions with ERP development team.
• Support & Train Users: provide hands-on support and training to maximize JDE adoption.
• Lead JDE Projects: own JD Edwards projects from requirements through implementation, manage scope, budget, timelines, and quality.
• Keep Improving: bring best practices to the organization and convert into measurable improvements.
• Maintain Documentation & Data Quality: keep process and user docs current; ensure JD Edwards data is accurate and standardized.
• Stay Current with JDE: keep up with JD Edwards releases and identify new capabilities.
• Support Security & Compliance: ensure JD Edwards processes meet security and regulatory requirements.
• Connect the Dots: act as JDE SME for manufacturing and distribution across departments.
• Deliver Business Impact: enhance system capabilities to grow, improve customer satisfaction, and efficiency.
