Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking an Operational Business Systems Analyst with 3+ years of JD Edwards experience to optimize manufacturing and distribution processes and translate business needs into effective JD Edwards solutions.

The role collaborates with Global Information Systems, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to drive improvements, implement new features, and ensure data quality and security across JD Edwards environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an ERP Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting JD Edwards applications.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of JD Edwards, with manufacturing and/or distribution modules experience.
• Understand how JDE integrates with the broader technology environment (config, customization, integrations).
• Proven ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Excellent communication across a global team and across functions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Know the business processes in manufacturing, distribution, inventory, production planning, and supply chain to optimize JD Edwards support.
• Drive process improvement and measure results with meaningful KPIs.
• Design practical JD Edwards solutions with ERP development teams.
• Provide hands-on support and training to drive adoption of new functionality.
• Lead JD Edwards projects from requirements to implementation, managing scope, budget, timelines and quality.
• Continuously seek improvements in processes and system capabilities to enable growth and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate process and user documentation and ensure data quality in JD Edwards.
• Stay current with JD Edwards releases and best practices for value delivery.
• Support security and compliance, including change management and incident tracking.
• Serve as JDE SME for manufacturing and distribution across teams to align priorities.
• Deliver measurable business impact through enhanced system capabilities.
