Berklee College of Music seeks a program assistant to support the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice (BIJGJ). The role offers hands-on arts administration experience and exposure to a vibrant campus.
You will assist with day-to-day BIJGJ operations, help create content for newsletters and social media, support programs, visiting artist preparation, hospitality, and special projects, working closely with the managing director and program coordinator.
In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
Provide assistance in support of the day-to-day operations of Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice, including communications, music education, research, operations, community outreach, and special projects. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in hands‑on arts administration experience.
Duties will include performing light weekly clerical duties, assisting in creating content for the BIJGJ newsletter and digital media platforms, assisting with JGJ programs, visiting artist preparation and hospitality, as well as special projects. The program assistant will work closely with the managing director and program coordinator.
Pay Rate: $16.97
Expected Hours: 5-10 hours
