Citi in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and evolve our Cross Functional Reference Data Foundation platform within Prime Services. You will work on Java/SQL distributed applications, contribute to Agile teams, and help maintain and advance our current platform in a fast-paced global setting.

The role requires 5-8 years of experience, strong Java/SQL skills, and expertise in Spring/Microservices, with exposure to TDD and modern cloud-native practices.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in systems analysis and programming.
• Proven track record of implementing software projects from start to finish.
• Strong proficiency in Java with hands-on coding.
• Deep experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Expertise in the Spring framework and Microservices.
• Proficiency in SQL and Stored Procedures.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Kafka messaging.
• Experience with Redis or Gemfire caching.
• Agile methodologies experience.
• Excellent collaboration and communication.
