Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a mid-level to senior software engineer in Minnesota to join a rapid development team. You will own full-stack work, craft robust Java/Spring Boot services, and ensure secure, scalable delivery in a regulated environment.

You will implement testable code, participate in CI/CD, and collaborate across teams to improve reliability, performance and compliance with U.S. Bank policies where applicable. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of relevant experience.
• Expert-level coding skills in Java and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Shell Scripting, GitLab, SQL and Linux.
• Functional testing experience with manual and automated tests.
• DevOps in containers, cloud, automation, security, config management and CI/CD.
• Modeling and architecture design knowledge.
• Unit testing and CI-integrated test automation experience.
• Agile software development (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Strong system and network architecture understanding.
• Expertise in service virtualization and test data management.
