U.S. Bank is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain modern financial software experiences. You’ll own full stack delivery, build RESTful microservices with Java Spring Boot, and collaborate across teams in an agile DevOps environment.

The role requires 6–8 years of experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and hands-on work with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud deployments. Location: Cincinnati, OH with on-site expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Java Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Istio.
• Familiarity with Kafka, PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, operating and maintaining products.
• Takes full stack ownership by delivering production‑ready code.
• Adheres to architectural best practices focusing on scalability, reliability and performance.
