Job summary

Dev Technology Group in Tysons Corner, VA is seeking a Java Developer to support MFA implementation for web-based applications on a federal government project. Hybrid role; on-site 3 days per week. U.S. citizenship is required and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

The Software Developer will help plan, design, and prototype secure user authentication using IAM solutions, with Spring Security, SSO, and DevSecOps tooling in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with five or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment or no bachelor’s degree with seven or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
• Experience with identity and access management and single sign-on, preferably with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Project experience developing and integrating user authentication workflow with web-based applications, e.g., Spring Security.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration with a large cross-functional team.
• Software delivery using Agile Scrum or Kanban via Jira.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and prototype secure user authentication mechanisms for web-based applications.
• Deliver a robust MFA solution leveraging IdP options and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Development Lead, and incumbent team members.
