Job summary

Dev Technology Group in Tysons Corner, VA is seeking a Java Developer to support a federal government MFA project. The role focuses on planning, designing, and prototyping secure user authentication mechanisms with an emphasis on MFA integration using IdP solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong Java development experience, hands-on IAM and SSO knowledge (Microsoft Entra ID preferred), and the ability to collaborate across a large cross-functional team in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years in Enterprise IT if no degree.
• 5+ years in enterprise application development with Java/JavaScript stack.
• Strong IAM and SSO experience, preferably with Entra ID.
• Experience integrating authentication workflows (e.g., Spring Security).
• Excellent verbal and written communication for a cross-functional team.
• Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and prototype secure user authentication for web apps.
• Deliver a robust MFA solution using IdP options and integrations.
• Collaborate with PMs, Leads, and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
