Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Java Developer with BPM expertise to lead architecture and delivery for large-scale projects leveraging Gen AI. You’ll work with Enterprise Architects and Delivery Directors to modernize applications using Java, Spring, and microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of IT work experience in frontend and backend frameworks.
• Strong hands-on Java, Spring-boot, and Microservices.
• Proven BPM expertise and process orchestration.
• Experience with Angular or React.js.
• Proficient in JavaScript tooling such as Node.js, Webpack, Jasmine, Karma.
• Experience with unit testing and E2E test suites.

Responsibilities

Our Challenge

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with proven BPM expertise and a strong Java development background to lead the architecture and delivery. This role involves close collaboration with the client’s Enterprise Architect and Delivery Director to deliver large-scale, innovative solutions leveraging Gen AI.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $90k - $100k/year & benefits (see below).

Role Responsibilities

• Develop applications API using Java and implement BPM as per the need.
• Design and develop web user interfaces and APIs using Java/JavaScript/Spring/Angular technologies.
• Develop application code, write unit tests and integration tests using Junit/Spock/Jasmine/Karma.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, UX Design teams and downstream systems.
• Build cloud-native applications using container technologies like Docker and deploy in OpenShift/AWS EKS.
• Support the production release, monitoring and triaging issues on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of IT work experience in frontend and backend frameworks.
• Good hands-on experience in core Java, Spring-boot, Microservices.
• Proven expertise in BPM.
• Good experience in Angular or React.Js.
• Experience using JavaScript tools like Node.js, Webpack, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, JSLint, etc.
• Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD task.
• Creating E2E test suites for all components, and running them with Protractor (or a well-reasoned alternative).
• Knowledge of Java EE technologies, Spring framework (i.e. Core, Security, MVC).
• Experience with build automation using Ant or Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, IBM-MQ, Kafka as preferred.
• Good experience with Cloud and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, EKS.

Preferred Experience

• Work experience in PCF, GCP, Python
• Exposure to Devin, Co-pilot, Claude
• Unix shell scripting experience.
• Database experience - Oracle SQL/PLSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, RDS, DynamoDB
