Job summary

Herdt Consulting seeks a Java Developer to support NETC in Pensacola, FL, focusing on CeTARS for schoolhouse and corporate training. The role involves full lifecycle Java EE development, MVC frameworks, and collaboration within an Agile team to deliver enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or six years of experience in Information Technology.
• Full lifecycle Java EE development using MVC architectures (JSF, JPA, EJB) in waterfall and Agile environments.
• Active Security+ certification or equivalent to meet DoD Cyber Workforce requirements.
• Experience with Spring, Seam, or Struts MVC frameworks.
• Familiarity with Oracle, PL/SQL, and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop application software by coding in Java and participating in unit tests.
• Design and implement data model objects and integrate with SQL databases.
• Analyze root causes and propose feasible solutions across the enterprise.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with team to fulfill client requirements.
• Provide documentation and feedback for problem resolution and support.
• Review and resolve help requests and examine system schematics and related documentation.
