Job summary

SAIC is hiring a Software Developer in Pensacola, FL to support NETC Training & Education Management Systems and DoD programs. You will work with AWS-based services, Oracle databases, and a mix of Java, C#, JavaScript, and PL/SQL to fix legacy code and build new features.

You will develop unit tests, assist with deployments, and ensure security and compliance per DoD SDLC standards. A Secret security clearance is required or can be waived for strong candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity or related field from ABET/NCAE-C accredited institution.
• AWS GovCloud experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and code versioning tools like Git.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development advisory, system planning, and architecture support.
• Maintain and enhance software using AWS, Oracle databases, and a diverse tech stack.
• Develop unit tests and participate in release planning and deployment scripts.
