Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or six years of related experience.
• Full lifecycle app development using Java EE tech (JSF, JPA, EJBs).
• Active Security+ or DoD equivalent for compliance.
• Experience with Spring, Seam, Struts or similar MVC frameworks.
• Relational DB experience (Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Develop application software by coding in Java.
• Perform unit and functional testing.
• Design and implement data model objects.
• Analyze root causes for abnormal system operation.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with team to fulfill client requirements.
• Analyze data to determine feasible solutions and implement them.
• Define and resolve problems and develop processes for enterprise-wide solutions.
• Provide detailed documentation and feedback for problem resolution.
• Review, analyze, route, and resolve help requests.
• Examine system schematics and supporting docs.
• Identify alternative software solutions.
• Participate in reviews to ensure complete and consistent requirements.
• Document MPTE TSS programs and projects as needed.
• Collect data on software engineering performance during development phases.
• Use SQL-based tools (TOAD, PL/SQL Dev, Oracle BI, SAP BO) for reporting.
