Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a Mechanical Trimmer (Jarraff Operator) to remove branches from electrical lines. You will operate heavy equipment, follow safety rules, and assist in daily setup and maintenance under Foreperson guidance.

Applicants should have prior heavy equipment experience, ideally with a Jarraff, and be able to travel for storm restoration work. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Past heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
• Experience with Jarraff or similar vegetation equipment preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to remove branches from electrical lines as directed.
• Follow safety rules and maintain equipment in daily use.
• Assist in setup, maintenance, and repair of tools and machines.
• Travel for storm work as required and document mileage.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and adhere to PPE requirements.
