Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a Mechanical Trimmer (Jarraff Operator) to operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. Must have past experience operating a Jarraff for this position and a valid Driver’s License with CDL and DOT Medical Card to drive trucks over 26,000 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Jarraff or similar heavy equipment.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• CDL and DOT Medical Card required for driving assignments.

Responsibilities

• Operate Jarraff and other heavy equipment as directed.
• Prepare equipment and materials daily for work.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment.
• Follow safety rules and enforce them on site.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed.
