Top-Us in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Accountant to join our semiconductor manufacturing team. This full-time, direct-hire role offers a hybrid work style and focuses on accurate US GAAP journal entries, reconciliations, and tax-related accounting.

You will manage accounts payable/receivable cycles, support quarterly filings and external audits, and maintain inventory and fixed asset records. Fluent English and Japanese, plus a degree in Accounting or Finance, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
• 2–3 years of progressive corporate accounting experience; manufacturing/semiconductor exposure is a strong plus.
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks (Enterprise/Online) and ERP systems (Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage Intaact).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance in alignment with US GAAP standards.
• Review, audit, and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with corporate travel and entertainment policies.
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactional flows to maintain vendor and customer ledger health.
• Manage, track, and reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts (e.g., sales tax, VAT, use tax, and income tax provisions).
• Gather financial data and maintain meticulous documentation to support quarterly filings, annual tax returns, and external tax audits.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory and maintain the fixed asset register.
• Manage asset labeling, purchase recordkeeping, and periodic physical inventory checks and reconciliations.
