Job description

A growing international manufacturing company is seeking Japanese Bilingual Accounting Assistant Manager to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This role works closely with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient accounting processes.

Location: Bremen, GA

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support cash management and banking activities
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits
• Review accounting transactions and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Support tax compliance and financial reporting requirements
• Assist in improving accounting procedures, workflows, and internal controls
• Collaborate with various departments and external accounting partners
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end closing activities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting an international or global business operation
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff
• Bilingual Japanese and English language skills are highly preferred
