Job summary

Pasona N A, Inc. is seeking a Japanese bilingual Accounting Manager in South New Jersey. The role requires 5–10 years in mid to senior level accounting with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Exempt position with typical hours 9:00–5:30, M-F.

The candidate will lead monthly closings, manage journal entries, and oversee financial reporting. Relocation and visa support are provided as part of the full benefits package, with strong emphasis on cost control and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or business with strong accounting experience.
• Five to ten years with experience in mid to senior level finance or accounting positions.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, taxation, budgeting and cost control.
• Physical requirement: must be accessible to all lab, manufacturing, and office areas.
• Business level of Japanese language skills.

Responsibilities

• Monthly closing related items.
• Match vendor invoices and enter into the accounting system.
• Review accounts payable batches for accuracy.
• Match checks to invoices.
• Process checks and posting.
• File paid vendor invoices.
• File, type, fax or email documents as requested.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to reconcile problem invoices.
• Create sales invoices.
• Coordinate with other departments to confirm invoicing items.
• Provide secondary approval on expenditure requests and disbursements.
• Prepare supporting documents for journal entries.
• Record journal entries.
• Manage the preparation of financial reports.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Oversee daily finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare board meeting materials and report monthly financial wellbeing.
• Monitor and analyze monthly results against budget.

QUALIFICATIONS:
