The Manager will collaborate with HR Business Partners, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and global teams to optimize Total Rewards across time zones and cultures, ensuring equity and governance in all programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources / Total Rewards experience with hands-on compensation and benefits experience.
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market benchmarking, salary structures, incentive programs, benefits administration, and Total Rewards practices.
• Working knowledge of the Japanese employment environment and compliance considerations for compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead Total Rewards activities in Japan, including compensation, benefits, recognition, and related programs.
• Translate global Total Rewards plans into practical local processes, timelines, communications, and procedures for Japan.
• Manage annual compensation processes, including salary review, short-term incentive planning, benchmarking, pay analysis, and equity-related programs.
• Oversee employee benefit programs and vendor relationships in Japan; review program effectiveness and costs.
• Ensure programs comply with Japanese laws, regulations, tax, and social insurance considerations.
