Job summary

GDI Services Inc US is seeking an experienced manager to oversee janitorial operations at a client facility in Augusta, GA. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a hands-on approach to meet safety, quality, and customer-experience goals.

You will recruit, train, and deploy staff, manage budgets, conduct audits, and adapt to changing client needs. The position offers weekly pay, vacation, a company laptop and cell phone, 401K, and EAP.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven leadership and management success.
• Experience as a manager in janitorial or housekeeping is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Experience with electronic timekeeping.
• Ability to communicate with all levels.
• Exceptional decision making, problem solving and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety program implementation and compliance.
• Complete all online management and leadership training and development.
• Recruit hire, train and deploy a capable workforce.
• Ensure all labor, supply and equipment budget targets are met.
• Conduct periodic quality audits within the facility and address deficiencies.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews with client leadership to ensure requirements are met.
• Be able to adjust to changing customer needs.
• Must be hands on in all areas of the contract.
• Perform other assigned duties to support operation needs.
