Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee Janitorial operations across client facilities. You will lead a team, ensure safety, manage budgets, and coordinate with client leadership to meet cleaning standards and requests.

The role requires strong communication, hands-on leadership, and the ability to train staff, conduct audits, and adapt to changing customer needs while delivering reliable, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven leadership and management success.
• Experience as a manager in janitorial or housekeeping is desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel and electronic timekeeping.
• Strong communication, decision making and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety program implementation and compliance
• Complete all online management and leadership training and development
• Recruit hire, train and deploy a capable work force
• Ensure all labor, supply and equipment budget targets are met
• Conduct periodic quality audits within the facility and address deficiencies
• Conduct periodic performance reviews with client leadership to ensure requirements met
• Be able to adjust to changing customer needs
• Must be willing to be hands on in all areas of the contract
