Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Janitorial Crew Lead. The role drives daily site operations, coordinates tasks with the crew, and delivers professional client service.

This position requires OSHA awareness, safety documentation literacy, and strong leadership to train and motivate team members at the Torrance site. Starting pay is $17.81 per hour with first-shift opportunities and benefits; prior janitorial and supervisory experience is strongly

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety data sheets (generally in English; may include Spanish where state required).
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
• Customer service oriented, friendly, positive demeanor with the ability to motivate team members and support customer requests in an orderly and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• The Crew Lead performs site Crew tasks and ensures Crew tasks are fully executed at site.
• Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned Crew.
• Ensure crew members understand and are knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy.
• Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
• Motivate the crew; interact regularly with crew members to provide support and clarity and lead by example.
