Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Lead to supervise and coordinate on-site cleaning tasks with a focus on client satisfaction. You will guide crew members, ensure compliance with safety procedures, and assist with hiring and training at the site.

The position requires 1–3 years in a lead role, strong customer service, and the ability to read safety documents. Shifts run 4am–9am, with comprehensive benefits offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations; distribution center environment preferred.
• 1–3 years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions (generally in English).
• Customer service oriented with ability to motivate team and work with client requirements.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and basic safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead janitorial crew and coordinate daily site tasks.
• Interact with the client to ensure professional, prompt service.
• Assist supervisor with hiring, training, and onboarding of new staff.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and communicate tasks clearly to crew.
