Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Janitorial Crew Lead to join our fast-paced team in California. You will supervise the Crew, ensure tasks are executed, and provide professional client service while coordinating daily operations.

Starting pay is $19.29 per hour. The role offers leadership growth in a large facility services provider with benefits and timekeeping tools like KBSPresence for attendance and training support.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment preferred.
• 1-3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, and chemical safety sheets (English; may include Spanish where state requires).
• Ability to follow OSHA safety guidelines and forklift instructions.
• Customer service oriented with positive demeanor and the ability to motivate the team.
• KBSPresence app usage for timekeeping and training communications.

Responsibilities

• The Crew Lead performs site Crew tasks and ensure Crew tasks are fully executed at site.
• Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned Crew.
• Ensure Crew members understand and are knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy.
• Lead and motivate the crew to coordinate daily operations and resolve deficiencies promptly.
• Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
