Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Janitorial Account Manager in Andover, MA to service existing contracts with a focus on operational excellence and fiscal responsibility.

You will coordinate with client management and site staff, manage budgets and schedules, monitor quality, supervise teams, and support the site supervisor. We offer a competitive salary with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in janitorial operations management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with new construction and changing space needs.
• Experience in creating and managing complex budgets.
• Ability to self-manage daily activities.
• Flexible with work hours and schedule.
• Technical knowledge of janitorial service delivery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

A day in the life:

The Janitorial Account Manager primary focus will be to service the existing business, operationally and financially, while maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new business where possible.

What you’ll do as an Exceptional Team Member

• Interface with client management and contractors staff to coordinate and execute cleaning and other projects
• Monitor to ensure quality control expectations are met
• Manage work order system
• Manage expenditures such as labor and supplies to budget
• Manage schedules to ensure contract compliance
• Review employee performance and be able to execute corrective action plans
• Complete all quality control programs in accordance with company guidelines
• Approve payroll
• Support site supervisor
• Supervise and mentor team members
• Oversee and enforce disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and procedure
• Other projects as assigned
