VW International in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Janitor to perform custodial services at the U.S. Coast Guard TRACEN Birmingham Southern campus.

You will clean restrooms, floors, and public areas, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues as needed. What You’ll Do

The Janitor performs scheduled custodial services for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center (TRACEN) Birmingham Southern campus located at 900 Arkadelphia Road, Birmingham, AL, 35254.

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, waiting areas, and other designated areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in hallways, and common areas.
• Collect and dispose of trash and waste properly, following infection control guidelines.
• Restock supplies such as towels, toilet paper, soap, and other essential items in public areas, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, notifying the supervisor when items need to be replenished.
• Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Follow standard procedures for handling and disposing of biohazardous materials and adhering to infection control practices.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of special events or meetings as required.
• Adhere to all safety precautions and protocols while performing duties to ensure the well‑being of patients, staff, and visitors.

What You’ll Have
