Job summary

Goodwill-Easter-Seals-Miami-Valley-3 is hiring a part-time janitorial assistant for Tuesday to Thursday, 7:00am to 11:00am. You will clean assigned areas in commercial facilities, perform high/low dusting, vacuuming, restroom sanitization, floor care, and specialized cleaning.

You must follow agency policies and safety standards, including CARF, OSHA, and Department of Labor guidelines. Key duties include maintaining a safe environment, supporting warehouse tasks, and complying with background

Qualifications

• Ability to read and identify chemical labels on containers.
• Experience with proper use of janitorial chemicals and mechanical equipment.
• Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.

Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing high/low dusting, vacuuming, and emptying trash.
• Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures to meet high health and safety standards.
• Floor Care: Perform dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, scrubbing, and carpet spot cleaning.
• Specialized Cleaning: Clean computer rooms, glass surfaces, and polish furniture, chrome, and stainless steel.
• Compliance: Adhere to all Agency policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements including CARF, OSHA, and the Department of Labor.
• Government Standards: Maintain performance standards subject to inspection by government officials.
• Warehouse Support: Assist with bailing cardboard, returning empty skids, and cleaning spills in stocking aisles as required.

Summary

To clean assigned areas in commercial and government facilities to an acceptable level of quality. Must possess a working knowledge of janitorial terms and perform tasks within established time standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
