Job Description: Janitor

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time JANITOR positions.

Location

Hamilton SE - 13485 Cumberland Road, Fishers, IN 46038. (Openings at other locations within the school district available). Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time schedules. Second shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday; Third shift: 10:30 pm to 7:00 am, Sunday through Thursday; more details upon interview.

Requirements

One year of janitorial experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Pay Range

$17.10 per hour to $18.10 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of buildings by performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.
• Follow approved procedures and infection control plans for trash disposal.
• Dusting, damp mopping, moving and replacing furniture for cleaning.
• Sanitize surfaces and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to ensure a safe environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Perform all tasks assigned by supervisors, adhering to federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts, exhibiting professionalism and customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
