Job Opening: Janitor

We have a full-time position available for a Janitor at Kraft Heinz, located at 2504 North Industrial Road, Kirksville, MO 63501. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Pay Range: $16.00 to $16.50 per hour

Job Summary

The Janitor keeps buildings clean and orderly, performing duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Disposing of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusting and mopping floors.
• Moving and replacing equipment and furniture for cleaning.
• Cleaning assigned areas with proper materials and equipment, sanitizing surfaces, following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washing walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items.
• Identifying areas needing cleaning and completing tasks proactively.
• Completing all assigned tasks in accordance with regulations.
• Stripping, scrubbing, buffing, and refinishing floors; shampooing carpets.
• Exhibiting professionalism and teamwork.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
