Job Opening: Janitor at ESFM

We have an opening for a full-time Janitor position at ESFM, located at Kraft Heinz - 2504 North Industrial Road, Kirksville, MO 63501. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Pay Range: $16.00 to $16.50 per hour

Job Summary

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of buildings through heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
2. Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
3. Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and replace them properly.
4. Clean assigned areas using appropriate materials and equipment, following the eight-step cleaning procedure, and sanitize all surfaces.
5. Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean and safe environment.
6. Identify areas needing cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
7. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors.
8. Perform tasks in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
9. Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
10. Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
