We have an opening for a full-time JANITOR position.

Position Details

• Location: 19 Bob Glidden Blvd., Whiteland, IN 46184. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00pm - 4:30am. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: One year of janitorial experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $16.35 per hour

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collecting and disposing of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusting and damp mopping floors following procedures.
• Moving equipment and furniture for cleaning and returning it to proper placement.
• Cleaning assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment, sanitizing surfaces, following the eight-step cleaning process.
• Washing walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Identifying areas needing cleaning and taking initiative to complete tasks.
• Completing all tasks assigned by supervisor and performing in accordance with all guidelines.
• Stripping, scrubbing, buffing, and refinishing floors; shampooing carpets.
• Contributing to team efforts and exhibiting professionalism.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
