Job summary

Janco, Inc. is seeking a full-time janitorial staff member for on-site work in Rollinsford, New Hampshire. Responsibilities include cleaning facilities, maintaining restrooms, and operating equipment safely.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 am – 2:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and windows.
• Sweep, vacuum, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; dust and polish surfaces.
• Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms.
• Maintains the cleanliness of refrigerators.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Trash collection and compacting.
• Unlock the building in the morning.
• Light snow removal/spreading of salt near entrances.
• Understanding of safety precautions when using chemical cleaners and working around powered machinery and heavy equipment.
• Reports low inventory of supplies to department manager.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
