ALUTIIQ LOGISTICS & MAINTENANCE SVS LLC in Ridgecrest, CA is hiring for a full-time Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across assigned facilities under a government contract.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a background check and obtain a security clearance, and capability to perform physical janitorial duties with attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must follow all safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary facilities per contract standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic janitorial duties: sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms and kitchens.
• Carry out floor care tasks such as waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning as needed.
• Maintain buildings to meet contract standards and present a clean appearance.
• Operate floor care machinery as required.
• May drive to outlying areas and interact with customers during service.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIME DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Logistics & Maintenance Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has opportunities forJanitorsinRidgecrest, CA. A Janitoris responsible forperforming custodial servicesin order toensure that buildingsand facilities aremaintainedin a safe and sanitary manner.Will perform a full range of custodial duties related to the care, maintenance and cleaning of all assigned buildingsand facilities within the government contract to include both routine maintenance as well as non routine assignments.

• Basic Janitorial duties including, but not limited to, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaningrestroomsand kitchens.
• Additionalassignments may include floor care such as carpet cleaning, wax and buffs and spray buffs.
• Buildings will bemaintainedso as be in compliance withcontract standards and present a clean sightly appearance.
• Operating floor care machinery asrequired.
• May berequiredto drive to outlying areas.
• Regular customer interaction during performance of services.
• Other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor.

Payrate:$23.25 Hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Ability tocomply withall safety requirements andwear personal protective equipment at all times.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Applicant must have the ability to successfully pass a background investigation for both the company as well as the base.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Security Clearance within90 daysof hire.
• Must have a valid state Driver's License.
• Alutiiq Logistics & Maintenance Services, LLCmaintainsa drug/alcohol free workplace.
• Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be able to perform physical labor to include lifting and carrying a maximum of 50lbs.
