The GEO Group, Inc. is hiring for a facility janitorial role at our site in El Centro, CA. You will be responsible for cleaning according to health and safety standards, inspecting the facility daily, and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility is cleaned according to health and safety standards.
• Inspect facility and grounds daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct weekly inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain proper handling of chemicals/hazardous materials.
• Maintain a safe working environment and attend safety training.
• Perform basic minor repairs and care for outdoor grounds.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Experience in the use of industrial machinery and knowledge of common janitorial practices and procedures used preferred.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must be willing to undergo a rigorous background investigation as required by U.S. Marshals.
