GEO Corrections & Detentions in Adelanto, CA seeks a reliable facilities janitor to maintain a clean and safe environment across the facility. The role emphasizes health and safety, routine inspections, and adherence to standards.

You will perform tasks from cleaning to minor repairs, inventory, and ground maintenance, with opportunities for career growth within GEO's corrections and community reentry services.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Experience in the use of industrial machinery and knowledge of common janitorial practices and procedures used preferred.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must be a United States citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

Responsabilidades

• Make sure the facility is cleaned according to health and safety standards.
• Inspect the facility and grounds daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct weekly inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain proper handling of chemicals/hazardous materials.
• Maintain a safe working environment and attend safety awareness training.
• You may also make basic minor repairs and take care of trees, shrubs, and lawns.
