Qualifications

• Must possess an active, valid driver's license.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Must be a United States Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper facility cleaning in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of the facility and grounds for safety, sanitation, and cleanliness.
• Conduct weekly inventory of supplies and equipment needed to maintain sanitation.
• Ensure that all chemicals and hazardous materials are properly controlled, issued, and accounted for.
• Maintain a safe working environment and attend training in safety awareness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Summary:

The Janitor under direct supervision performs janitorial cleaning and maintains the facilities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for proper facility cleaning in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of the facility and grounds for safety, sanitation, and cleanliness.
• May assist in stocking and picking up supplies.
• Conduct weekly inventory of supplies and equipment needed to maintain sanitation. Receive and store all supplies, ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are met.
• Ensure that all chemicals and hazardous materials used in the facility are properly controlled, issued, and accounted for in accordance with all safety and national standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment and continually attend training in safety awareness.
• May be expected to make basic minor repairs.
• May need to maintain facility grounds, including lawns, trees, shrubs, and plantings.
• May need to remove dirt, rubbish, leaves, and all other refuse from facility grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
