Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory's Enterprise Systems Development unit is seeking an experienced Specialist to design and implement a new facility management solution, applying detailed technical knowledge to support engineering, maintenance, and facility operations.

You will lead IWMS transitions to PrimeNet via ServiceNow, work across planning, design, testing, and data analysis, and develop dashboards and tools to measure performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of experience, or an associate/bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
• Journeyman papers or naval nuclear operator qualification with substantial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical, engineering or science field with 7+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical transition of IWMS to PrimeNet using ServiceNow, including configuration, customization, integration, and testing.
• Serve as the technical resource in planning, analysis, design, testing, and data analysis for complex systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications and tools supporting preventive and corrective maintenance management.
• Build and automate metrics, dashboards, and reports for facility and maintenance performance insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions aligning with operational needs.
• Promote sound software engineering practices and sustainment of IWMS functionality.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other developers.
