Job summary

Mclaurin Aerospace is seeking an IVA Spacesuit Deputy Project Manager at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. You will lead spacesuit development, manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk, and coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and safety to deliver flight‑credible suits.

Applicants should have a bachelor's in engineering and 10–15 years in complex aerospace programs, with strong leadership and communication skills and experience with government contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading complex aerospace programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead IVA spacesuit development from concept to certification and production.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, and technical performance across workstreams.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including systems, mechanical, electrical, and software.
• Ensure compliance with human-rating standards and customer requirements.
• Present program status to leadership and customers.
