Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead IV&V activities for an Undersea defense program in Middletown, RI. You will own the integration and V&V strategy across subsystems, coordinating with IPTs, government stakeholders, and NUWC Newport personnel to ensure successful FCA/PCA transitions.

The role requires a strong background in systems engineering, SETR readiness, and PLM-based configuration control, with the ability to develop comprehensive test plans and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 9+ years of related systems engineering experience.
• Experience leading or contributing to integration and V&V on DoD or complex programs.
• Familiarity with SETR events and PLM processes; experience with documentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive integration plan for all subsystems and domains.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the integration process.
• Oversee subsystem and system-wide integration testing to ensure cohesive operation.
• Create and execute test plans to validate system integration, performance, and reliability.
• Prepare V&V documentation and coordinate with IPTs and stakeholders.
• Lead contribution to FCA/PCA artifacts and First Article activities.
