Job summary

Planned Systems International, Inc. seeks a Sr. System Integration Test Engineer to support VA IV&V testing on the IETSS contract. You will analyze requirements, write detailed test cases, and perform comprehensive testing across distributed components, including data migration and interoperability.

The role requires seven years in software testing, strong communication, and experience with SOA/SOAP/REST, FHIR, and HL7. U.S. citizenship and a government background check are required.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in software testing and leading test efforts.
• Experience writing detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Knowledge of test management and automation tools.
• Experience with SOA, SOAP/REST, FHIR, HL7 messaging.
• Healthcare IT experience with DoD/VA or private sector is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass security background check.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical/engineering/scientific/managerial field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and comprehend requirements.
• Write detailed test cases to cover the requirements.
• Ensure all requirements are mapped to test cases.
• Understand project architecture, test environment, test data needs.
• Conduct thorough testing of the product – positive, negative, validation, exploratory, regression, data migration.
• Testing may include verification and validation, integration testing, data integrity; System Interoperability testing across distributed components.
• Identify and disposition defects as per standards and processes.
• Write detailed status reports and test execution reports.
• At completion of testing write test analysis reports.
• Collaborate effectively in a team setting with customers.
