Remote Salary: $100-175k+

Sabot Consulting is currently seeking an IV&V Consultant with demonstrated ability to deliver client business value as a Lead Consultant. The candidate should be skilled in presenting verbal and written findings, issues, risks, and recommendations to project management, technical, and business stakeholders in a professional manner, using an evidence-driven approach based on IEEE Std. 1012.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in or lead a team reviewing and assessing methodologies, processes, plans, tasks, work products, and deliverables produced by a system integration vendor or client implementation team, providing recommendations for improving quality and maximizing business value.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with project staff and customers to resolve complex issues.
• Support client management and stakeholders in planning for and addressing risks and issues to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive periodic assessment reports with oversight results and improvement recommendations.
• Create and present anomaly reports evaluating specific processes, work products, and project attributes, offering assessments of their effectiveness and providing actionable recommendations for any anomalies or findings.

Must Have:

• At least seven (7) years of extensive experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience as a senior project manager on medium-sized or complex IT projects.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least four (4) years of recent experience leading independent IV&V services for government entities within the last ten (10) years.
• Working knowledge of IEEE Std. 1012 (System and Software Verification and Validation).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with agile development team management and pipeline tools like Microsoft TFS, Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, or Circle CI.
• At least two (2) years of IV&V experience on Agile or iterative delivery projects of similar size and scope.
• Valid PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• PMP ACP or CSM certification.
• Ability to prepare high-quality documentation explaining complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
