We are hiring an IoT Solutions Architecture Manager to lead a regionally-focused team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services, assisting customers with solution architecture, design, and delivery.
Location: This is a remote role, managing a team in one of three Geos: Americas, EMEA, or APAC. You must be located in one of these regions to manage the team spanning different time zones.
Our IoT mission is to enable companies to create secure connected devices. Canonical provides the Ubuntu OS and kernel, with secure update and management mechanisms. Our customers develop mission-critical systems, gateways, and appliances requiring high security and quality standards. We aim to extend this security to the consumer electronics and device markets.
Our Field Engineers are thought leaders in embedded Linux strategy and delivery, passionate about solving complex problems and helping customers achieve technical and business goals. They also foster colleagues' growth and deepen understanding of technology and customer business thinking.
This role requires a blend of skills: strong Linux knowledge, proficiency in coding and scripting, experience in low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware, embedded software development, and adaptability to diverse client engagements. You should be a business-oriented, collaborative technologist with a drive for success.
