Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• CPhT certification is a plus.
• Minimum of two years of experience in sterile compounding.
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and sterile compounding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sterile Compounding: Prepare sterile intravenous medications according to protocols and procedures, with accurate labeling and documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Perform routine inspections and quality control checks to ensure sterility and accuracy.
• Inventory Monitoring: Track inventory levels and assist in ordering and stocking of pharmaceutical products.
• Compliance: Adhere to USP 797 standards and stay informed about regulatory updates.
• Collaboration: Work with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate preparation and delivery of IV medications.
• Patient Care: Maintain a patient-centered approach and ensure timely delivery to facilities and patients.
