Qualifications

• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and sterile compounding procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards governing sterile compounding.
• Effective communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Sterile Compounding: prepare sterile intravenous medications per protocols with proper labeling and documentation.
• Quality Assurance: perform routine inspections and aseptic technique to ensure sterility.
• Inventory Monitoring: track stock levels and assist with ordering and expiration tracking.
• Compliance: adhere to USP 797 and current regulations; stay updated on changes.
• Collaboration: coordinate with pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe delivery of IV meds.
• Patient Care: ensure timely, accurate delivery to facilities and patients with professional empathy.
